Shivam Dube, a dynamic middle-order batsman and a useful medium pacer, garnered significant attention during the IPL 2022 Mega Auction as Chennai Super Kings (CSK) secured his services for a hefty sum of INR 4 crore. With initial interest driving his base price of 50 lakhs to the final winning bid, Dube’s reputation as an all-rounder drew considerable bidding.
Originally from Mumbai, Shivam Dube showcased his cricketing prowess in junior and senior cricket for the state. His Twenty20 debut for Mumbai in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in January 2016 marked the beginning of his professional career, followed by his one-day debut for the state team a year later.
